Rediscovery

Wow, so, apparently it's been SO LONG since I've been on here that it was still registered to my old @indiana.edu address. Madness!

Um... not a whole lot to say other than hi everyone, though. I slept in til 11. That was pretty awesome. Also, the movie 10,000 B.C. should have been called 10,000 B.G. Before Good.

Apparently the Egyptians built the pyramids with Wooly Mammoths, and also discovered metallurgy, locks, horses, and probably wheels (I wasn't paying that much attention) all before homo sapiens even came to exist. Unfortunately, their civilization and technology were wiped out by a bunch of zulu warriors led by a white guy with a perfectly coiffed beard and rasta dreads, setting mankind back 10,000 years.

So if you want to know why we don't have flying cars yet, I guess this movie explains it, or something.

Also, ostriches were direct evolutionary descendents of raptors. True Story.

On the OTHER hand, "Run Fatboy, Run" is awesome. Everyone should go see it.

what's the point of those labels at the bottom of your post? If they're important, how do you activate them? Is it just so people can search our blog and then maybe even click on the ads that John has put on here?

That's exactly what the labels are for!

Heck yes, I'm for real. Run Fatboy, Run is an awesome movie. And yes, that's exactly what the tags are for. Also, it's fun to put random words like "Ostrich Raptor" in there.

That way if someone does a search for blogs about ostriches, ours will come up.

but how did you get them in there?

They're one of the little boxes at the very bottom of the posting screen, underneath the main box. It says "tags" or something, you just type in stuff separated by commas. I think it's at the bottom, anyway. It might be at the top...
