New Radiohead!
Ahem... the new Radiohead, "King of Limbs," went on sale today! Check it out: www.kingoflimbs.com
Can you explain what the big difference is between the mp3 version and the WAV version? The site says: MP3 version is a 320K constant bit rate file. WAV version is a full CD quality uncompressed digital audio file.
I just don't really know the difference. 320 sounds like a pretty good quality to me, so does it really matter?
Personally, I feel like a WAV is a waste of space, especially if you'll be getting the CD too, in which case you can just rip it at the highest quality if you feel so inclined. The WAV is going to be huge; stick with MP3.
So what do you think of it so far? I have to give it a few more listens before my opinion is reliable, but I'm not so crazy about most of it. The last two songs I like, but don't love. That's about as much as I've gotten out of it so far.
First listen: I like the second half, but I don't like the first half. Successive listens: It grows on me a bit, but not enough for it to be considered anything more than one of the weaker albums.
